I could make a setting to hide the button, but it doesn’t take the place of anything else in the app (you aren’t losing any features by its presence). Do you just use the Apple camera app, or do you use a different camera app?
Nik BhattKeymasterHalide only works on the iPhone, so the button only appears there. On iPad the button is suppressed.
Nik BhattKeymasterWhere do you see the camera button? I’m running 3.2 on an iPad and I don’t see it. Are you referring to the iPhone?
Nik BhattKeymasterSounds like a bug. I’ll make a note for a dot release. Managing the buttons is complicated and error prone, unfortunately.
Nik BhattKeymasterRAW Power 3.2 has support for ProRAW, including a new slider in RAW Processing called Local Tone Map. I’m working on a video to explain it all right now…

Nik BhattKeymasterI have heard this request from multiple customers and it’s something I am looking into. The reason the app works the current way is to ensure that changes are always “pushed” into the photo library. However, I understand (and agree) that it can be annoying to have to keep confirming each edit (the confirmation is coming from the Photo library).
Nik BhattKeymasterYes, you can open a Photo library on any volume. However, Apple places a restriction on what non-Apple photo apps can do — non-Apple photo apps can only open the “System Photo Library”. You can tell if this library is the system library by looking in Photos Preferences. If you would like to learn more about multiple libraries and RAW Power, here is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR0wRXPg7Tw&list=PLgF1Bfd-tVLa8sizMIG2g42x6CdPUmHsb&index=8
Nik BhattKeymasterHi, I’m not seeing the same problem on iOS that you are reporting. Would you mind sending a video recording to support@gentlemencoders.com? Then I will try again to reproduce it.
Nik BhattKeymasterIt depends on whether you are using Photos or not. The app’s features are different because it leverages the Photo library when possible.
1) R+J is supported as a pair when using the photo library. In the file browser, they are separate images. Photos stacks the images together; there is a menu item to switch (as Aperture had). You can batch switch as well in Photos. That feature is not present in RAW Power because Apple has not provided a way for me to do that.
2) My library is under 2TB, so everything fits in the cloud.
Nik BhattKeymasterThis is a bug in 3.1. A fix will be in 3.2.
Nik BhattKeymasterRight now, the app only has noise reduction for RAWs. I’d like to work on a more general purpose one in the future.
Nik BhattKeymasterSounds like some kind of GPU bug or error. You can go to preferences and switch to OpenGL (or Metal if it’s on OpenGL). Quit and reopen the app for the change to take effect. That might help.
Nik BhattKeymasterI hope you were able to get this to work. For anyone else reading this, this is what I would do:
1) Rate images (including marking some as rejected)
2) Set the filter to EQUALS and Rejected
3) Select All and move to trash or delete
4) Turn off the filter or change it to some other criteria.Nik BhattKeymasterThanks for reporting this bug. I have fixed it and it will be in the next version of the app.
