I’m observing a similar issue, may the two are related:
https://support.gentlemencoders.com/forums/topic/bug-rotation-for-portrait-orientation/DavidParticipantThe camera is an A6400 and the pictures are stored in the Photo Library.
(Apologies for the late reply, I just noticed you follow-up questions.)
DavidParticipantI just noticed, also the pictures don’t have any metadata like camera model displayed and their resolution is given as 1.7 MP instead of 24 (which is likely the embedded preview). It changes, once the picture has been edited. It seems to be a general issue with reading metadata from new pictures.
DavidParticipantFollow-up: For a small number of files it is possible to just “Export Originals to Library” and use “Copy Adjustments” in the file-based window and “Paste Adjustments” in the library window to transfer the edits.
Of course it would be awesome if the two steps could be merged into an “Export Originals w/ Adjustments” since the functionality is already there.
DavidParticipantHi Nik,
thank you very much! I would support that request! 😉

DavidParticipantHi Nik,
Thank you very much!
Another option for 3. would be to have the slider move by a certain value if I click right or left from the current position (similar to how a window scroll bar behaves). Currently, it jumps to the exact position where I click.

DavidParticipantHi Erik,
thank you very much! Indeed, these controls lead to better results.
Just out of curiosity: Are they the same like the Aperture Highlights/Shadows controls? Or did Aperture use a combination of the different controls in Raw Power?
Cheers,
