    Hi,

Continuing to enjoy using the app!

When swiping through a set of photos, the app sometimes doesn’t correctly decide between portrait and landscape orientation.

Often, when swiping from a landscape photo to a portrait photo it will try to render it as landscape. This results in a distorted length x width ratio. It can be worked around by backing out to the viewer and selecting the photo, but this is not ideal when processing a large batch.

Nik – is this something you’ve noticed?

    Thanks,
    Bob

No, I’m not aware of this issue at all. What kind of camera(s) do you see the problem with?

Pentax K-50. I can’t reproduce it consistently, but it seems to happen most often with fresh, unedited DNGs. Next time I import a new batch I’ll see if I can record it happening. Thanks!

I’m observing a similar issue, may the two are related:

I was unable to find any K-50 DNGs that are shot in portrait orientation to test this. If you want to send me some, you can upload them here: https://www.dropbox.com/request/URZ12srbCokrdYn4I0gE
