    Hi there,

I noticed when trying to drag the crop around, it doesn’t follow the mouse for precise movements. For example, I could be moving my mouse by 10px or so, but the crop does not follow. At some point it will jump to the mouse again, then become stuck. I’ve tried holding command, option, control, shift separately to see if it can stop the stickiness, but it doesn’t work. The crop seems to stick to edges or transitions between contrasting colours. My mouse is nominal outside of this operation.

Is there a way to disable this crop sticky feature? I want to be able to move the crop box around normally.

    Nitro version: 2026.02 (172)
    Mac version: 13.6.6

Thanks again for your work on this awesome software!

A crop box moves very smoothly on my MBA and trackpad.

    Hi Erin,

Crop should definitely not stick like you are describing. Does it happen if you quit and reopen the app? Does it happen if try cropping an image that has no other adjustments on it (make sure it doesn’t have straighten when you run the test)?

Also, you are running an old version of Nitro – the current version is 2026.5.
