Thanks Nik. That rings a bell now you’ve explained it. It’s a pity that Apple won’t support this as I normally browse through photos in Photos and it would be great to then link out to Nitro to edit. But editing in the app directly is fine as well.
Richard
RichardDBlakeParticipantMaybe a bit more data may help.
I have set the filter to only show photos from 03/04/2024.
– Photos dated on that day on or before 03/04/2024 14:26:42 GMT+2 are shown
– Photos dated on that day on or after 03/04/2024 17:09:31 GMT+2 are not shownIf I change the filter to show photos from the following day (04/04/2024) the first photo shown is dated 04/04/2024 06:04:40 GMT+2. So this does not show photos from the end of the previous day.
Therefore time zone is not looking like the culprit from what I can see.
RichardDBlakeParticipantHi Nik
I am currently in GMT+1 and the photos were taken in GMT+2 so different but only by 1 hour. The photos that do not appear in the filter seem to be taken from early afternoon onwards so I don’t think the timezone explains it.
RichardDBlakeParticipantNo, moving forward and backwards between photos does not make any difference.
I’ve also tried with a photo from a Canon 600D and I get the same issue so not specific to the 7D Mk II.
RichardDBlakeParticipantHi
Unfortunately, I can’t get the zoom to work properly, even if I wait for a while after selecting the photo.
Same issue for RAW files.
I’m using an Apple M1 MacBook Pro if that helps.
RichardDBlakeParticipantHi Nik
I am using the Canon 7D Mark II.
I am seeing this problem when I am viewing JPEG files, not the RAW files
I created a new folder with just one JPEG file in it from this camera and I saw the same issue. If I look at the same JPEG file with RAW Power in my Photos library, the Z key zooms to 100% as expected so this only seems to be an issue with folder browsing.
