I think there may be an issue with filtering in Nitro for Mac.

If I create a smart album in Photos where I filter on one day (in this case 03/04/2024) I get 188 photos and 6 videos in my library.

In Nitro, I create a filter for File Date 03/04/2024 to 03/04/2024 and get 110 items. It’s the first 110 items and it cuts off after that.

Could it be an issue with time zones? Are these pictures taken in a different time zone from the one you are currently in? Are they taken late in the day (or very early in the morning)?

    Hi Nik

I am currently in GMT+1 and the photos were taken in GMT+2 so different but only by 1 hour. The photos that do not appear in the filter seem to be taken from early afternoon onwards so I don’t think the timezone explains it.

Maybe a bit more data may help.

I have set the filter to only show photos from 03/04/2024.
    – Photos dated on that day on or before 03/04/2024 14:26:42 GMT+2 are shown
    – Photos dated on that day on or after 03/04/2024 17:09:31 GMT+2 are not shown

If I change the filter to show photos from the following day (04/04/2024) the first photo shown is dated 04/04/2024 06:04:40 GMT+2. So this does not show photos from the end of the previous day.

Therefore time zone is not looking like the culprit from what I can see.

I will try to reproduce it and let you know.

I believe I have found the bug. A fix should be in the next update.

I released a new update today. It has a fix for filtering.
