Support for multiple Photos libraries?

Hi Nik,

Does Nitro have support for opening different Photos Libraries? I appreciate on the system Photos library will sync over iCloud, however it’s useful to be able to keep work photos separate from my main Photos library. Just wondering if you’ve brought this functionality over from RAW Power.

RAW Power can only open the System Photo Library, and Nitro is the same way.

You can switch the library by going in to Photos Preferences and changing the system library. Then open Nitro.

Changing the system library will pause iCloud Photo Sync, but it won’t cause the libraries to merge.

But in RawPower, when using a non-system library, you can in edit mode via extension start editing in RP. So I assume it will work the same way ?

Yes, that works the same way. The extension works with whatever library Photos has open. Apple allows Photos to open any library. They just don’t let anyone else!
