spot/wire removal and clone tools revert

Is there a way to step backwards when using these tools? Revert removes all the changes not just the last one.

When using spot/wire removal, it is possible to use the hand tool to move around by using the option key. When using the clone tool, the option key is used to select the spot to clone from and there doesn’t seem to be another key that can activate the hand tool. It might be better if the option key could be used for the hand tool when cloning for consistency, and using a different key for clone site selection. Does that make sense, or am I missing something?

Yes, that makes sense. BTW: if you have a trackpad or a Magic Mouse, you can pan that way as well (move your finger on top of the mouse’s surface).

Good point. My logitech mouse also supports the side-to-side panning, didn’t think to try it. Thanks.
