Spider Web Masking Question

I’m a new Nitro user so this may be an easy question hopefully.
I have found the the AI “Subject” mask will highlight a spiders web if it is prominent in the frame [first app I have tried that can do this]

Depending on the background bright spots, the mask will fill in some of the gaps in the spiders web, especially the small gaps.
I have tried to remove these infill sections by brushing out the areas with “edges” ticked. Unfortunately spider webs do not have a continuous or hard edge so that does not work well.

I have tried “Luminance” based masks in other programs and does not work well either as the web and bright spots are about the same.

Not sure if I am asking a bit much with this question, but does anyone have any tips that may help isolate spiders webs?

Really liking the program so far and the interface seems easier to use than other programs I have used.

I have never tried something like that – have you been able to accomplish it with other apps, and if so, how? I might be able to suggest something based on that.

I have not found any other app that could pick out a spider web, but I am not a very experienced post processor and have only tried about three other post processing programs and none of the subscription based ones.

The only other way I have been able to isolate the web is via slider adjustments.

Dont know how Nitro is able to pick it out. It could be just the web being the biggest thing in the frame and most sharp ?

If there is an email address for feature requests I could send a sample phone RAW as an example to if it has be improved on in the future as it could be very good for spider shots on a web for macro shooters. I will try this on some spiders on webs soon as well. Getting a small spider on a web with flash at night can make an interesting shot and not many post processing apps really cater for close up work that are not stacked.
