I have not found any other app that could pick out a spider web, but I am not a very experienced post processor and have only tried about three other post processing programs and none of the subscription based ones.
The only other way I have been able to isolate the web is via slider adjustments.
Dont know how Nitro is able to pick it out. It could be just the web being the biggest thing in the frame and most sharp ?
If there is an email address for feature requests I could send a sample phone RAW as an example to if it has be improved on in the future as it could be very good for spider shots on a web for macro shooters. I will try this on some spiders on webs soon as well. Getting a small spider on a web with flash at night can make an interesting shot and not many post processing apps really cater for close up work that are not stacked.
