Ah yes your right, using it like this works, with or without the
combined subfolders option.
It’s handy when you’re constantly switching between two or three
folders while working.
But when looking for images, let’s say images with Basketball keyword
and a rating of >= 3, I set the filters and can see the subset of
images in the current folder, but then I select the 2025 folder and I
have to set the filters again, select the 2024 folder, must set
filters again…
For this type of use, I think it would be preferable to have a filter
dialogue box that does not change when a new folder is selected.
But now that I understand how it currently works, I’m not quite sure
how to implement what I’m proposing while maintaining a simple and
intuitive user interface.
