Raw Power edits filtered as “unedited” in Nitro

I have a series of images that were edited in Raw Power. I “exported xmp file to Nitro” and everything works fine: the Raw Power edits show in Nitro and the images are flagged as edited.

But when I filter (in Nitro) for either “edited” or “unedited” images, these images filter as “unedited” unless I have done subsequent editing in Nitro, in which case they filter correctly.

I assume this is not intentional, or am I missing something?

It’s not intentional, but not surprising. When you export RP edits, RAW Power writes out its data in “RP” format, not in Nitro format. Nitro then interprets that when it opens the image for editing. It can tell that the image was edited but until you enter edit, it doesn’t read and process the data. I’ll make a note to try to get the edited flag to work in filtering.
