Masks are still super confusing

    I set up a “background” mask. Nothing shows.

    Then I paint the sky with edges detected, and now I see that I have masked out the sky.

    I use split tonig to try and make the sky more acceptable

    so far so good.

    Now I want to make adjustments to the rest of the image, or the whole image. What I want to do is to tell Nitro to apply edits to the whole image not just the masked area. No idea how to do that.

    You can edit the whole image by leaving the brushing tool and going back any of the other three (the one with the magic wand, presets, or the sliders).

    I don’t understand what you are saying. The entire edit interface is for adjusting the whole image. Only the Brush tool is for selective masking. If you have a suggestion, please provide it.
