Hello Nik,
a week ago I tried to show Nitro to a friend. Before I left home I made the mistake to update Nitro on my MacBook and don’t start it up after the update when I still had internet connection. The popups I got at my friend’s place were telling me a lie and I don’t like that. I bought a license, so speaking of the “free trial period has ended” is simply wrong.

I’m pretty sure this notifications are not caused by you. But as paying customer I am bothered and slightly upset by them.
This is just a reminder that users not always have internet connection to check licenses.
