    Is there an easy way to crop a portrait out of a landscape (3×2) JPEG in edit rather than going to custom crop size and entering 2 x 3 ? Surprised portrait is not an option.

    Yes, you can click on the double-headed arrow between the two Custom text fields. That switches the direction of the crop for built-in crops and custom ones.
