Can‘t load converted tiff

When I copy Sony RAW files from sd-card to fotos on my iPad they will convert to tiff. This files RAWPower and fotos app can‘t read. Lightroom can do.
how can I upload a file here?

I don’t think you can upload files here. I limit what can be done because I get so many robots and spam.

I don’t understand why the files would get converted to TIFF. I just imported some Sony RAWs from an SD Card reader into Photos and I get RAWs. Which OS are you using?

I can not say why the photos are converted, maybe it is because of the Lightning SD card reader. if I copy the raw files to files.app they will not be converted.
I send you an example.

now i know why my RAW files were converted to TIF. in the photo preferences> transfer to mac and pc = set automatically. this setting ensures the greatest possible compatibility and that is apparently for RAWs then tiff.

Yes, TIFF would be more compatible than RAW.
