Have you considered using Tags? I am working on replicating my LRc workflow. I do a fast scan post shoot and mark the notable images in yellow. It’s a visual that is easy to catch. Once I am done with edits on these I mark them as green. I now know all green images are going to be exported. You could use Tags color coded in Finder, and quickly assign them in Nitro, then filter by all green.
