You are correct, Rosemary, that Apple does not permit App Store apps to read more than the system photo library (because the only way to do it is via private API calls which are forbidden (and a bit risky as well, since Apple makes no promises about them).

You can switch the system photo library without messing up iCloud. Here are two links:

Duplicating an image with the sidecar is on the to do list. In addition, some kind of versioning scheme is also on the to do list. Both are useful features, for sure.

The app does not have that feature currently, but I have put your request on the list for a future release.

If you open the file in Photos and go into Edit, you can see what it shows. To do that go to Photos’ White Balance and choose Temperature / Tint.

I don’t know. Apple’s RAW decoder will determine the white balance from the metadata of the file. Are these compressed RAF or not?

If the app is set to Auto-Collapse Adjustments, then this will happen. You can change that by going into Settings > Configure Editing Options. Then turn off Auto Collapse Adjustments.

When you apply crop, the radial mask on-screen control is not in the correct position.

There is a bug with radial masks and crop. It’s quite a difficult one to fix, as it turns out.

However, I am not aware of an issue with the crop location moving with just rotation applied. Please post (or email support) with steps so I can look into it.
