Possible Bug in Cropping

Hi,
I think that there is a bug in the cropping after a previous crop.
If I am re-cropping an image that has been previous cropped using a Cropping Preset, quite often the new crop will not take.
I click the Crop icon and the grid comes up. I move it to the spot I want.
If I click Apply or press return the crop goes to the right spot, but then immediately pops back to the original position.
Unfortunately it doesn’t happen every time

I tried several workarounds. Clicking cancel means it usually works the next time.

The thing that works every time is to Right Click on my trackpad.
It then always goes to the new crop and stays there.
