Are there any difference in the implementation and tuning of the editing tools between Nitro and RAW Power?
In particular I am a little bit confused by the implementation of the Chromatic Aberration tool. I find it much easier to get an acceptable result with RAW Power. With Nitro I find it almost impossible to effectively control purple fringe without creating large amount of green fringing.
I tried to develop the same image with both tools the difference is obvious, if I try to export a “Nitro XMP file” from a perfect Chroma correction in RAW Power the result looks quite bad in Nitro, is this something that is expected and unavoidable due to implementation constraints or can this be addressed?

In addition to this Chroma issue, I also think that the noice handling is slightly more efficient in RAW Power, a user handling or implementation problem?

Any other potential side effects with the usage of RAWPower created sidecars with Nitro?

Sounds like a bug in Nitro’s CA tool. I will take a look. If you want to email me an image to use, that would help. Otherwise, I will use the ones I have.
