Can the folder searching be improved in terms of how many levels of nested folders can be read in the Files view? Currently there is a 3 levels restriction on how deep in a folder structure images can be shown and filters can work

Example, I have a folder structure as follows and when checking the show sub-folders button I can only see 3 levels depending on where in the folder structure I click. So, starting at Portfolio no images are shown.

At Masters level, images are shown from Masters, Location (County) and Sub Location (Town)

At Location (County) I can see as far as Event

At Town I can see as far as Day

I would like to be able to see all images from the point in the folder structure I select to the lowest level, and for the filter to work to the same number of levels rather than being restricted to 3 levels including current level

Portfolio – No images in folder – no images shown from sub folders
Masters – No Images in folder – Images shown from County and Town
Location eg County – No Images in folder
Sub Location eg Town – Images in folder Images shown in browser
Sub Location eg Event – Images in folder – No images shown in browser

Yes, increasing the depth is planned for the future. I need to optimize this part of the code first and then I can increase the depth. Sorry it’s limited currently.

Thanks Nik, is there any roadmap for when you think new features will be released as that may help when us users are using the product and considering making feature requests, similarly any way of enabling users to vote for features as a way of shaping priorities?

    Kind regards
    Andy

There is a roadmap but it’s not comprehensive and it’s not in any order. That’s because some features require research and their timelines are uncertain, and delays with those then affect everything else

    Roadmap
