I really appreciate the extensive EXIF information available in Nitro. I find it somewhat disappointing though that this information not is available from the overview catalog/thumbnail view. I find it very useful to have access to EXIF data when assessing my images (eg to separate and tag similar normal and hi res files)
The expandable EXIF info panel available at the top of the edit sidebar is very nice indeed.
It would be very nice if the EXIF information panel could be activated as a floating object from the thumbnail view via the contextual menu, or if the menu sidebar with the panel could be kept open while in overview mode and information displayed for a selected image
Yes, I can see the value of having the metadata in the grid. Something for the future at some point. What makes it tricky is that the original image is not always present on the device, and the way to access files in the Finder / Files.app is quite different from the Photo Library. Not insurmountable, but there are a number of edge cases.
