One basic feature that seems to be missing in Nitro is the ability to copy/duplicate an image (With or without the sidecar file) from within the application interface
in order to facilitate multiple versions of the same image, is this something that is in the pipeline?

I appreciate the robust simplicity of the one file and one sidecar approach, but nevertheless a way to save and keep labeled or sequential multiple xmp files in order to create versions of a single image would be a great usability enhancement, would this be a theoretical possibility within the constraints of the Nitro design concept?
I assume that the same result theoretically might be achieved by some kind of “preset” derivate that could be linked to a specific file and stored separately, would this be an alternative?

It would indeed be very helpful to try out different variant developments of the same RAW. Be it crop sizes and orientations, b/w and colour or other experiments.

Duplicating an image with the sidecar is on the to do list. In addition, some kind of versioning scheme is also on the to do list. Both are useful features, for sure.
