When I open a new directory (File System), the viewer defaults to showing the last 15 images (on a 13″ screen), rather than the first, which has thrown me a couple of times, leading me to think I was missing files! Is this behaviour generated by the settings in Finder or is it a Nitro requirement? Or am I missing something?
The app should be remembering the last selected image and showing that, so it’s hard to say why you are seeing this. It may also depend on what you have set for sorting or filtering.
Hi – this is the consistent behaviour, including for directories that have only just loaded. Finder is set to group and sort by name in list view with use as default selected. However – toggling the sort option in Nitro to ‘sort descending’ – no visible change, then back to ‘sort ascending’ results in the lowest file number at the top. Until I move to another directory then back, when the inversion returns and I have to re-sort via the above sequence.
Can you email me a screen recording of this to my support email address? I’m having trouble visualizing it. Also note that Finder sorts are not visible to Nitro, so it cannot automatically sort how you sort in the Finder.
