I’ve happily been using RAW Power for a while – primarily as an extension to Photos (Photos > Edit > … > RAW Power).
I’d like to selectively edit – which I why I’m testing out Nitro on my iMac.
I’ve noticed that I can use the brush tool to ‘mask’ a part of my photo when using the standalone version, but not as an extension.
Exactly the same process used in both but when used as an extension the brush appears but does not highlight anything (I’m using Rubylith highlighting).

Been struggling on this for a while until I realised you can only use the brush tool on a ‘zoom to fit’ setting – as soon as you zoom in the highlighting disappears.

Is this normal behaviour as I like to zoom in to ensure the mask is accurate?

Yes, this is a bug in the extension – when you zoom in, the mask overlay is not being shown. It’s on the list to fix. Sorry for the bug.

Thanks for the confirmation – look forward to the update.
I’ll go ahead and make a purchase – I’m impressed with the feature set which gives me just the right amount of control without making editing a chore.
