Add pictures to an existing folder

I download my RAW/DNG files in a folder (file system) and postprocess them with Nitro and export them to a JPEG folder. After that I format the sd card and shoot some more.
When I try to add the new pictures to the folder with the processed DNG photos I get an error message. Is this caused by IOS on my Macbook or by Nitro?
In Lightroom I often added pictures to an existing folder (e.g. morning walk processed) and later added pictures I took in the evening.
Now I have to make a new folder which is not a major problem, but is not convenient either.

What is the error message? Is the error coming from the Finder or from Nitro?

I will tell you later this weekend. Does not happen with JPEG. I export the processed photos to a folder and then distribute them over other folders with the same subject.

I had the error message three times last week, but today when trying to reproduce the message the pictures went through without porblems.
Probably a glitch last week, but when the error message shows up again, I will make a screen shot.
