I learned about the Apple RAW v9 via this great video https://youtu.be/Fk0K7H6QEAE?si=2926E1mCAnH5aZPq . I first thought I could not benefit from vß with my OM System OM1 Mark II. But no, things have changed: Apple announced a much longer list of cameras and includes the OM1 Mark II. https://support.apple.com/en-us/127493
Unfortunately, when using Nitro and loading pictures taken with my OM1 MkII, I don’t see the v9 option. What would it take to benefit from V9?
Unfortunately, Apple’s list includes all cameras they support, regardless of decoder version. They do not break out v9 separately and the v9 list remains quite small. I have a page on my own site which lists the v9 supported cameras: V9 Camera List
In addition, DNG files will work with v9, as long as the DNG is not linearized. ProRAW files are linearized, so they are not eligible for RAW v9.
