One of the features I miss from Aperture is the ability to zoom to a specific part of an image based on the location of the mouse pointer. This was very useful when zooming in and out of images for editing or to compare details in multiple images. Nitro always zooms to the center of the image and then I have to scroll around to reposition the image to the area I want to see up close.
Is there a way to implement this — even as a preference option?

I share your wish list item with a slight difference. Aperture had a magnifying glass that could be moved by the mouse to zoom in on certain sections of the image; bring that to this app and I would be happy.
On macOS, Nitro will zoom to the cursor. On iOS, it also zooms to the cursor if you double-click on the image to zoom. If you use the space bar or the Z key, then on iOS, it currently does not. iOS doesn’t have a straightforward way to find the cursor location when a key press occurs. There may be a workaround – I’ll add it to the list of customer requests.
