    Hi,

sometimes the histogram and image changes suddenly when I use certain combinations of adjustment sliders.

For example lowering the contrast and then moving the shadows slider. Then I can see that the shadow part of the histogram “snaps” in a way, that it is cut off instead of spreading all the way to the left side ad before. In that case shadow details are gone. It’s hard to explain.

It seems that suddenly the image data changes from raw (a.k.a. unbound) to jpeg (cut off shadows and highlights) although it is actually a raw file with no jpeg pair.

Has anyone else had this experience?

I have not seen that, no. However, in the dark areas (which are close to zero), you can get some funny values (including negative values), which can behave unexpectedly under certain mathematical operations. If you want to send a RAW + XMP to me, I can try to look into it when I have some time (email the support address and I can give you an upload link)
