    Dream Features

I would like to see the radial mask have more options similar to Capture One’s radial mask. Reshaping into an elliptical, rotating, etc.

The ability to important images from an sd card into a session/folders similar to Capture One, a great feature.

When resetting an image the ability to retain any crop applied to an image. “Reset except composition.”

    Thanks for your consideration.

Nitro just keeps getting better and better!

The radial mask can already be turned into an elliptical and rotated. You can resize the radial by grabbing on the circle controls and rotate it by grabbing between the circles (on the line that defines the mask.

My dream features include a couple of items related to processing scanned negatives:

    1. An Invert button. Currently I have to manually invert the curve. (I do use the ColorPerfect plug-in for colour negatives, but for B&W an invert button would suffice.)

    2. A retouch module for spotting out dust specks or scratches. Currently I have to make a copy and edit it in Affinity Photo to do this.

The app has a preset for this in the Presets > Tone. It’s called Negative <-> Positive.
The app also has two features for retouching. One is Spot/Wire which is very basic and there is an AI Eraser now as well. Both are in the Quick Fixes section of Edit (where auto enhance is)

I had made myself a preset and saved it which reverses the Curve (it seems to give exactly the same result as the built in version).

The AI Eraser seems to work very well. It would be really nice if the size of the tool could be altered with a keystroke rather than dragging the slider. Photoshop and Affinity use [ and ] for this.

One more thing I discovered today is that I cannot add tags to a batch of photos, each must be done separately. Having scanned a couple of films I wanted to add camera, film stock, ISO, developer and scanner to each. A laborious business. I tried selecting all from a roll and adding tags to one, but the others did not get tagged. That would be a great time saver.

    Chris
