Hi – this behaviour isn’t consistent but, on occasion, when importing to Finder via Image Capture some images are partially greyed out, always in the lower section of the image and always for jpgs. Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

Are you saying that the images copied from the card are not written properly to the Finder by Image Capture? Or is the user interface drawing the thumbnail incorrectly?

Hi – I’m not sure which applies here. This behaviour is random as far as I can see – the only constant is that I always use Image Capture to import.

I still don’t understand what you are reporting. You import to a folder using Image Capture and some files are grayed out in Nitro? If so, can you double-click them in the Finder?

If you imagine an image in grid view the top half of which is visible whilst the bottom half is obscured by a grey overlay such as you could apply in PS.

I’ve been back through the images and the offending ones have corrected themselves. If this happens again – is there a way to attach a file?

Hi Nik – I’m still occasionally getting this issue but the full image appears when I move to edit mode.
    Thanks
