I just came back from a trip to Costa Rica and so I am really using Nitro intensively and discovering that it gives me great productivity.

One thing that I can’t figure out: I am shooting jpegs. For example I have an image with a monkey and greenery behind it and beyond that a dark background. But when I change selection to that image I see it looking one way and 1/2 second or so, the image changes and most noticablhy the dark background goes to blown out black. I think there’s some setting but I cant figure out which one.

    Thanks!

I cannot think of a reason why that would happen for a JPEG. The thumbnail that the app shows initially comes from the JPEG original. Then, it will load the full size JPEG, but again, there is no processing that happens.

Is it possible you have a camera preset set up in Nitro for this camera? Does it only happen when you are in Edit, or does it happen when just arrowing through images outside of Edit?

Happens while arrowing through. I dont see what a camera preset is. I will email you my settings maybe you will see something.
