Anyone else having issues with AI subject masking being quite inaccurate?

Had issues in Sequoia , and now on Tahoe 26.0 Beta (25A5351b) and stil having issues.

AI masking seems to be getting the shape of the subject mostly correct, but is overdrawing the border by quite a lot

All my photos are from a Sony A6000, wonder if its something specific to the Sony raw files?

If you turn off Standard RAW Development, and your image would normally automatic lens correction, then the subject mask will be offset. It’s a bug in Nitro. You can fix that by turn lens correction back on in the Lens adjustment.

Good question, Robert, and even better answer, Nik! That might explain why, earlier, I had called a local adjustment “a little weak.” I withdraw that comment.

Awesome! Thanks for the workaround Nik, works great! Hopefully the Nitro bug (and the bug that drove me to disable standard RAW development in the first place) get addressed soon, but for now I’m happy as a clam 🙂
