    I am not sure I understand what Tone Control is about, what it is doing, and why only apply to dng files. Some explanation would help, plz!

    Tone Control? Are you referring to the Tone Map that is present for ProRAW files?

    OK, finally figured out that Tone Mapping applies only to Apple ProRAW files. I didn’t catch that RAW Power has that as well. Quick observation, kinda looks like the Brilliance slider in Apple Photos does something similar? Obviously will have to do more experimentation( aka playing around!). (:-)

    I don’t know what Brilliance does – Apple does not describe their algorithms.
