I am testing Nitro vs Photomator. Opened up the same finder folder, and viewed in both apps simultaneously. Photomator shows the file in sharp relief, and the Nitro one is very blurry. Even the thumbnail photo shows blurry in Nitro, and when I double click it, it fills the window with a blurry image.
Not sure what is going on here. Other files in the same folder show identical images (.jpg files). Puzzled by this.
I have a screen shot that shows both apps but am not sure how to upload it to the forum. I can use a dropbox link…but Since this is my first post here, I am unsure of the policy of how to share images on this forum, and I don’t want to transgress…
I just checked, and in Capture1 pro 20, the same image is pin sharp as well. This seems to apply to all .dng files in Nitro – my guess is that it cannot properly read the .dng file.
Thoughts?
I’m not sure why it would be blurry either. Are you saying that JPEGs are blurry and also RAWs, or just JPEGs?
In any event, for this kind of thing, it’s better to just email me at support@gentlemencoders.com.
That way you can share images, and we can do a much faster troubleshooting turnaround.
