Sometimes all I want to do to a photo is add some text, maybe a shape, a “speech box”, a line, a scribble, etc. Apple Photos has Markup as a simple yet very handy choice to do such things. Is it possible to use Markup in some way in Nitro??

Unfortunately not. Apple does not provide a way for Markup to be integrated with other apps.

I have had a few too many issues with Apple Photos to want to ever use it again! I have a iMac Mini, MacAir, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPadMini 6, oh and Apple Watch 8. So full time long time Mac guy. But, Photos has to one of the most frustrating apps ever, at least for me. I have tried something today, it just might work. Since you have Nitro for most of my devices, and since the devices can use an SD card plugged in, then it seems I can switch from one device to another without problems. Yes, there is a lag, but I am not doing lots of photos in a day. Nitro has all the adjustment tools I will ever need.

But, is there an app that will allow me to add things like text, boxes, and so forth? Since Markdown can’t play with Nitro, I’m wondering if there is an app that will?? Am open to trying things, of course.

Apple’s own Preview application allows you to do that

Yeah, thanks, I rediscovered it as well.. Looks like it will do all that I am interested in doing at this time. KISS rule! You do know that one?
Thanks guys, for the responses. I will also explore the Move to iPad, have not tried that one yet.
